I hope you're having fun exploring my most recent photography and happenings. As a wedding photojournalist I'm super excited and blessed to be able to tell the stories of some the best folks on the planet!
I’d like to share a slideshow with y’all from Sarai and Micheal’s engagement portrait session we had in the amazing town of Gruene, Tx. We had so much fun. Sarai’s mom came along, and she approved the photos as we went along snapping away. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy!!
I was so excited when Jessica called me up asked me to design a custom guest sign-in book for their wedding created from their engagement photos. I had so much fun with her and Daniel. We checked out Gruene, TX, and created some really great engagement photographs. I can’t wait! Their wedding is coming up real soon, and is going to be featured in a bridal magazine. I would say which one, but I’m not sure if I’m allowed to yet.
Having a custom designed guest book is a great way to show who you are as a couple, and for you to remember who was at the wedding. The Sign-In book takes a life of it’s own as your guests share their memories and words of wisdom with you. The guest enjoy them as well. They take the time to look through the entire book looking at each of the designed pages with your personalized engagement photos. A good photographer will document who the two of you are, and design a book with your favorite images your guests will be talking about long after the wedding. The memories created will last forever.
If your planning your wedding consider asking your photographer to have a custom designed sign-in book. It will mean much more than the typical craft store lined book. Here is their’s I would love to hear your thoughts!
Years and years ago one of the very first events I photographed was at the St. Anthony Hotel. That historic hotel has always had a little special place in my heart, so when Julie asked to have her bridal photography done there I was excited! As a bonus her and Bryan were married there a short time later. I hope you enjoy the bridal photography!! Julie was just stunning!
I want to share with you the engagement photos I took of Julie and Bryan. We kinda roamed all over downtown San Antonio for their engagement images. I think they had a much fun as I did creating them. I hope you enjoy them as well!
When I met with Abby and JD, besides being super sweet, I was really excited to learn about their wedding venue was at the Southwest School Art, San Antonio, TX. The wedding was beautiful! To have a wedding is such a historic place right along the San Antonio River is a great way of celebrating. The personal touches that Abby and JD made for a wonderful experience for their guest, and the mariachi band was amazing! Thank so much for having me be part of your day!!
When Abby told me she had the perfect place for her bridal photos I was excited to see it was the Edward Steves Homestead. The staff at the museum was awesome! I was surprised to learn they welcome folks to have their engagement photos or bridal photos taken at the museum. There is a fee attached, but it goes to a good cause. Looking how Abby’s photos came out I’m convinced its well worth it. Abby just seemed so comfortable and excited to be in front of the camera. I think it shows. I hope you enjoy seeing the photos as much as I had taking them.
I can’t say enough nice things about Kacee and Kyle. Their family and friends where just great hosts it was an honor to be part of their day. The folks at Lost Mission just out side San Antonio in little town of Spring Branch did a wonderful job pulling everything together. I hope you all enjoy their wedding photos!
Check out these awesome wedding programs and a very pretty bridal bouquet!
The rings and wedding dress! I’m telling you! Kacee did a wonderful job planning her wedding day!
The bride’s shoes are from Tom’s. Check out their website. These shoes are part of a cause!
A moment with the bride.
The bride getting ready. I love both of these shots while the makeup artist does her work!
Kacee and Kyle got a little rain on their wedding day, but that didn’t stop this bride and groom from having a great time. Besides, its good luck to get rain on the day of your wedding!
What a great idea! Cards for the guests to send a personal note to the bride and groom!
Part two of our story is Kyle hanging out with his guys at the San Antonio Gun Club for a little clay shooting. The guys got together the day before the wedding at Lost Mission for a little fun… or a lot of fun actually. It was cold, and wet but it was a blast!
Enjoy!
Jason
Kyle passing gifts to the guys. Look at those gorgeous over under shotguns. I’m a little jealous.
Kyle is holding the loosing prize. The looser is going to have to eat some crow. LOL!
I’ve got a lot of blogging to catch up on. The heat of summer is a great time to do it.
We are going to jump back to January to Kacee and Kyle’s wedding just outside San Antonio in the little town of Spring Branch at an amazing venue called Lost Mission. There are so many great photographs from this wedding I’m breaking it up into three parts.
We are going to start with Kacee’s bridal photos also taken at Lost Mission. It was an amazing fall evening, Kacee was stunning, and the venue was perfect!
I hope you enjoy the images as much I did partnering with Kacee to creating them!
